Invited by Sarofsky to contribute to the pitch for the new Superman feature, this was a project that sits firmly in bucket-list territory for the studio. This second round of concepts pushed further into animation, exploring how the iconography of the character could be reinterpreted through motion. We developed a suite of style frames alongside an animation test, using the pitch to ask what a modern Superman title sequence could look like if it leaned into the mythology rather than the spectacle.
